September 2024

Three students from EUR H2O'Lyon's M2 IWS inter-master's program, along with a law student from Lyon 3 University, joined the GloUrb team:

Louis Estienne (RISE major)
Clément George (Water Sciences major)
Sonagnon Donald Boko (Water Sciences major)
Jeanne Marland (Environmental Risk Governance major)

This master's cluster will work in interdisciplinarity specifically on WP3, and in particular on the challenges of urbanization in relation to water quality and sediment extraction. The aim is to identify indicators (spatial, socio-economic, legislative, etc.) to detect and characterize these issues and then manage them more effectively.

We launched the cluster project during a seminar with GloUrb researchers and the PhD cluster on September 30. Students and supervisors then met several times to refine the overall problematic and the different thematic components. The internships will start in January 2025, and the results will be presented at the I.S. Rivers 2025 international conference!
