India field mission

From the 4th to the 17th of October, Hervé Piégay (GloUrb PI), Fanny Bourgeau and Liolia Bajemon (GloUrb PhD students) travelled to India on field mission.
During their stay, they participated at the 3rd International Conference on River Health.

They visited Indian cities and the rivers that flow through them, such as Delhi and the Yamuna, Ahmedabad and the Sabarmati, accompanied by Indian colleagues, including Vikraint Jain, professor of geomorphology at the Indian Institute of Technology in Gandhinagar and member of GloUrb's International Scientific Advisory Board.

The posters presented at the conference are available in the "Results" section of this website and an overview of the field pictures is in the "Global case studies" section.
