Welcome to GloUrb Project
GloUrb addresses the issue of floodplains urbanisation at global scale since the 1980s based on an interdisciplinary and integrated approach. This project aims to produce and share knowledge on the functioning and evolution of these floodplains, being ecosystems essential for societies but vulnerable, in order to promote more effective and sustainable management.
The GloUrb project is funded by the 2023 call of the ANR (French Natioanl Research Agency) and co-funded by the Graduate School EUR "H2O Lyon" and the Excellence Laboratory "Intelligences des Mondes Urbains", in the framework of their joint initiative "Water and Urban World".
