Explore and discuss the global environmental stakes and threats to river systems, the actors concerned and the "opportunities" to debate problems and prevent damages.
This webinar is organised as part of the ANR "GloUrb" project - Floodplain Urbanisation at Global Scale and takes place during H2O'Lyon Water Week.
It is open to researchers, PhDs, Master students, practionners and anyone who could be interested by this conference.

- How are rivers impacted by global freshwater vision, policy and governance? // Gérard Payen (Vice-President of the French Water Partnership)
- Environmental challenges (flood, drought, biodiversity loss, ...) // Jeff Opperman (WWF)
- Geopolitical challenges (regulation, comparative law, conflicts, ...) // Victoria Chiu (EVS, Université Lyon 3)
- The "strange case" of floodplain urbanisation: the GloUrb project // Barbara Belletti (EVS-CNRS, Université Jean Monnet)
