GloUrb at the annual American Association of Geographers Conference (AAG 2024)

April 2024:
In collaboration with Anne Chin (University of Colorado Denver), member of GloUrb International Scientific Advisory Board, Hervé Piégay (GloUrb PI) and Louis Rey (GloUrb member, specialist in Geographic Information Sciences) contributed to the production of three posters which were presented in April 2024 at the Annual Meeting of the Association of American Geographers. The work focused specifically on morphological channel changes, changes in the floodplain related to sediment extractions and changes in sediment size distribution, all three related to the development of the city of Denver along the South Platte River.
Posters presented at the conference can be found in the “Results” section.
