The GloUrb master students cluster

On The September 1, 2024

September 2024:
Three students from EUR H2O'Lyon's M2 IWS inter-master's program, plus a law student from Lyon 3, joined the team: Louis Estienne (RISE major), Clément George and Sonagon Donald Boko (Water Sciences major), Jeanne Marland (Risk and Environment/Environmental Risk Governance major). The cluster of masters will work in interdisciplinarity specifically on WP3, and in particular on the challenges of urbanization in relation to water quality and sediment extraction. The aim is to identify indicators (spatial, socio-economic, legislative, etc.) to detect and characterize these issues and then manage them more effectively.

We launched the cluster project during a seminar with GloUrb researchers and the PhD cluster on September 30. Students and supervisors then met several times to refine the overall problematic and the different thematic components. The internships will start in January 2025, and the results will be presented at the I.S. Rivers 2025 international conference!

The whole GloUrb team welcomes them and wishes them all the best for the future!
